01
Lean BC needed to explain DMAIC to people who had never heard the term. The method has five phases, a Kaizen workshop and a Plan Do Check Act cycle. Each step had to make sense on its own. The whole story also had to feel relevant to very different workplaces.
02
We opened with three familiar frustrations. A stack of forms, a late delivery and an unhappy customer at the counter. Those three workplaces then carry the story through every phase. Each letter of DMAIC gets its own visual. The last scene brings all three back, now running smoother.
the method in eight steps
The script moves one team through DMAIC. Here is the path it takes, frame by frame.

sketch first, then animate
We storyboarded the script panel by panel before any color went down. Each panel paired a line of narration with a clear action. Pick a panel to compare the sketch with the finished frame.

"To help better understand the problem, data is collected from customers, employees, and systems."
Data is collected from three sources.
the final artwork
A clean 2D style with a varied cast across an office, a warehouse and a front counter. Simple icons carry each DMAIC phase so the method reads at a glance.
