Mammothic Films is a promotional video production company working with brands, agencies and marketing teams across Canada and the United States. We shoot on location, in-store and at the facility, with the actual product and the actual people in frame, then edit that footage into as many finished promos as your campaign needs.
We are based in Vancouver and travel across North America. One shoot day becomes a hero video for your site, a set of paid-social cutdowns, and vertical and square versions for every platform, all cut from the same footage.
of marketers say short-form video delivers the highest ROI of any format, which is why one promo shoot is built to become many short cutdowns. (HubSpot, 2025)
of viewers finish a video under one minute. Past twenty minutes only about one in five do, so promos are cut short and made to land fast. (Vidyard, 2025)
higher long-term return on ad spend from short vertical video versus standard paid social, the reason we shoot vertical and square on the same day. (Google, 2026)
Show the product doing what it does, filmed close enough to see the detail that makes it worth buying.
A short film about who you are and why it matters, shot on location with your real team and your real space.
Cutdowns built for the feed, delivered in vertical, square and widescreen from a single shoot.
The hero video that carries a product launch or a seasonal campaign across your site, email and ads.
A fast, energetic cut that captures an event, a season or a body of work in under a minute.
Coverage of the launch, the tournament or the activation, cut into promos while it is still current.
Show what it is actually like to work with you, filmed with the people who already do.
Put your store, plant or venue on camera so customers see the real place before they arrive.
Real customers on camera, cut into short promos that carry the credibility a claim cannot.
We start from the campaign, not the camera. What the promo has to sell, who it is aimed at, and where it will run, so we know how many cutdowns and which aspect ratios to shoot for. Then we walk the location, the store or the facility to plan the light, the access and the look before the day.
You get a shoot plan: what we film, in what order, whether we need talent or your own staff, and what your team arranges. Location agreements, permits and any product prep are handled at this stage, not on the morning.
A small crew comes to you, or to the location we scouted. We film the product, the place and the people the way they really are, and we shoot for the edit from the start, capturing wide, tight and vertical framings so the same moment works as a hero cut and a paid-social cutdown.
We light it properly, mind the details that make a product look like itself, and keep the day tight so it fits a real marketing schedule.
You review a rough cut as a link with timecoded comments, so notes from the whole marketing team land in one place instead of three email threads.
Then one shoot day becomes a campaign: a 60, 30, 15 and 6 second cut, in widescreen, vertical and square, captioned and delivered in the specs each platform needs. We licence the music, and you can come back for a fresh re-cut when the next campaign starts.
The hero videos that introduce a product or tell your brand story, filmed on location with the real thing in frame. One polished cut for your site and pitch, plus the shorter versions that carry it into ads and social.
Vertical and square cutdowns built for paid social and organic feeds, all pulled from the same shoot day. A 6, 15 and 30 second set per concept, captioned and ready to run on Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
A campaign built around one shoot: a launch film, the cutdowns that support it, and re-cuts for the next season. Because we shot for the edit, a new campaign is a fresh assembly of existing footage, not a new production.
A typical promo shoot is one day and produces a hero cut plus a set of shorter versions, usually a 60, 30, 15 and 6 second edit in widescreen, vertical and square. How many concepts we cover depends on how much setup each one needs, and we will tell you honestly what fits before you book. See our pricing page for day rates.
Yes. We frame for it on the day, shooting wide enough to crop cleanly to vertical and square without losing the subject. That is how one shoot becomes a full set of platform versions instead of a single widescreen video.
Either works. Real staff and real customers often make a promo more believable than hired talent, and we are used to directing people who are not on camera for a living. If a concept needs professional talent, we can cast and handle the releases.
Yes. We scout the location during the recce and arrange any location agreements or film permits the shoot needs. We carry commercial general liability insurance and can issue a certificate naming your venue before the day. We travel across Canada and the United States, and travel is quoted separately and agreed up front.
Yes, and it usually looks better than a studio. Filming in your store, plant or office puts the real product in its real setting, which is what makes a promo credible. We bring the lighting and keep the crew small enough to work around your operation.
A standard promo is delivered a couple of weeks after the shoot, and the short social cutdowns can come first when a campaign date is fixed. Tell us the launch date at booking and we will build the schedule back from it.
Yes, and it is why we shoot for the edit from the start. A new campaign is a fresh assembly of footage we already have, so a seasonal refresh or a new set of cutdowns is a short edit, not a new production.
You get full usage rights to the finished videos for the campaigns we agree, and we licence the music so every cut is cleared for paid and organic use. We can also hand over the footage so your team can re-cut internally. Start with a quote request.
